That seems like a foolish argument. The time horizon in which we discovered smoking was bad for you was decades, and over a massive population of users. E-Cigarettes are only now becoming mainstream, and have only been in use for the better

What's the supporting evidence for your concern that "attacks on vaping are for the purpose of driving smokers back to cigarettes" Philip Morris (now known as Altria) put $13bn into Juul to do the exact opposite. The margins

I am doing OMAD 4-5 days a week, and if I don't do OMAD I most certainly do 18:6. On the weekends its a bit of a crap shoot since my social life is mostly around eating but I tend to stick to 16:8 (still IF)

Needing to raise cash to operate or expand, and positive cashflow arent mutually exclusive ideas. A company can be profitable and still need more working capital to expand. That being said, I don't know what to make of Uber, Lyft and W

That's likely a singing capacitor. Lots of electronics will "sing" like this FWIW. Could also be a transformer but since this isn't a high voltage product it's more likely some disk capacitor in the circuitry.

This is the common (and correct) solution. In this scenario, the biggest problem is updating the bootloader, which cannot do this type of fallback. Generally people avoid updating the bootloader (for good reason) but it is necessary sometim

I hear you... commoditization of connected hardware makes this future a real possibility, and yet it hasn't gained consumer traction and it does add real cost to the products. $3-5 of hardware cost + thousands of hours of software adds

This is a serious hype piece. The problem is stated clearly: the smart home industry is expensive, fragmented, and complicated. This isn't news to anyone at all but there seems to be a lack of a viable solution. Simply connecting every

As a rule of thumb, the notable product manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Microsoft, Amazon, etc, have extremely capable RF design teams. Your run of the mill bluetooth headset, mouse, or keyboard likely does not spend the time on t

I've spent the better half of 3 years building products on the 2.4ghz spectrum (WiFi and BLE). Most of the issues in this thread are related to poor hardware design more than a crowded spectrum. While the spectrum is in fact crowded in
