It's a reciprocal agreement. If my employer is decent and goes the extra mile, I'd be encouraged to do the same. If they're shitty, then they get what's in signed the contract, and that's it. But... don't fall

Zoning is a US thing. The article refers to the UK housing problem and we don't really have that problem, but I suppose that might fix the US market. UK houses are a good investment, in fact the best investment for £500k, and also the

One cause of the UK's 'housing crisis' (or rather un-affordability), just like other countries I suppose, is simply that if I buy other properties, I get: capital appreciation on the asset, and return on investment (by ren

The masochist in me keeps coming back to c++. My analogy of it to other languages is that it’s like painting a house with a fine brush versus painting the Mona Lisa with a roller. Right tool for the job I suppose.

I'm glad it's not just me that's noticed this. I thought it was targeted advertising because I also see lots of 'old people adverts' :) It's horrific really. I change channels as soon as one of those adverts

It's easy enough to just use `mkdocs` with `mkdoxy` and the material theme, and you're done. In my repos it's simple enough to just run `just docs` at the root and that's it. Docs built for the given branch/tag&#x

Not all profiles end up in orbit . At this point in time, reusuability sacrifices delta-v for fuel. If you want to launch scientific missions you want to escape Earth orbit. If we're going to land on Mars, we're going to need

There's a certain exchange out there that I wrote some code for recently, that runs on top of VAX, or rather OpenVMS, and that has an epoch of November 17, 1858, the first time I've seen a mention of a non-unix epoch in my career.
