I mostly agree. The biggest problems with Waze are when it puts a three mile detour to turn around, and that it struggles to find a whole host of places compared to Apple/Google. Particularly small out of the way places. It just doesn’

I listed all of those. My point was that you don't have the situation like in San Francisco where a driver drives for Uber+Lyft+RandomOtherStartup at the same time. A minicab is a minicab, an uber is an uber, and a black cab is a black

As far as I can tell in the UK there aren’t really alternatives. Maybe in parts of London? Outside options seem to be mini cabs, traditional black cabs, and Uber. Lyft for example doesn’t run here.

Hitting airplane mode drops connected bluetooth devices, until you reenable it while in airplane mode. It then remembers that you want bluetooth to remain on in airplane mode.

I use Vim with a MBP Touchbar. A half decade or more ago I swapped caps lock and control, I then started using 'ctrl-[' as escape. This is the actual escape code for the 'esc' key. Super easy to press, just uses both pin

Yea the info for Seattle is also really off. 10k for a years rent. I'm paying 2400 a month for a two bed flat. You could definitely get it down quite a bit but I doubt you can get anything decent for around $900 a month.

This title, "S&P 500 to exclude Snap after voting rights debate" is wrong. S&P 500 is moving to bar all stocks with multiple classes with different voting rights. Existing stocks in the S&P 500 are grandfathered. Perso

I'm not sure how NPR and Fox News can be compared in good faith. Yes NPR has a liberal bias, but for the most part it attempts to reasonably source its articles and publish a journalistically accurate news report. Fox News is not a new

You can setup a reoccurring donation to letsencrypt: https://letsencrypt.org/ The reason these are free has nothing to do with payments but instead allows removing an additional barrier to entry from getting SSL working.
