It is still doxing. It doesn't matter if it is a criminal or not. Reddit doesn't have a place being involved in this. Look at how the Boston Bomber situation turned out.
If you think someone commited a crime and you have evidence take it to the police. If they want community help in hunting someone down then they will ask the community.

I know there are people on the left cheering this assault because they don't like the victim, but I'd really rather not see political violence become commonplace in the US. EDIT: By the way, I like your "If you think someone committed a crime..." formulation, as if there's some question whether or not something illegal happened.
