In my experiences, both as a meat-eater for most of my life and about a year of not eating meat, most of the reason you (or I, previously) couldn't stomach that kind of vector is because (at least in my case) it's the difference b

A vegan diet is easy if you're coming from an already health-conscious diet, meat or no meat. Before going vegetarian/vegan, I was already paying attention to what I ate, cooking at home for almost all of my meals, and generally e

Here is a (somewhat related) instance of what you are talking about: A New Mexico Resident drove for 11 hours to break into the home of Gavin Free and Meg Turney, with intentions to kill Free [0]. It seems he became obsessed with Turney and

Also, you don't have to be miserable. There are tons of foods that a lot of people find delicious that aren't meat. You can use substitutes (tvp or lentil/walnuts for tacos, tofu in a stir fry, etc).

Fair point. While I disagree with the article, I enjoyed reading the discussion around it, so I'm not quite sure whether I'm happy or sad it hit front page? Mixed feelings, I suppose.

For the record, veganism also excludes dairy products, and we still have a pretty significant impact from things like dairy producing cows (not to mention they are treated just as poorly in factory conditions). And especially in restaurants

This article reads more like an ad for their farm, which granted as far as farms that produce meat from livestock goes, seems really nice. But their approach is not gonna work at scale, because you cannot have enough farms that operate this

I tried looking up stuff about windows spying on users, and most of what I'm seeing is useless (debunked articles, generally clickbait stuff). Is there anywhere I could look to read more about this if true?
