https://www.theguardian.com/games/2023/sep/12/unity-engine-f... Remember this? I wonder what’s going on in the Unity executive’s heads right now.

Have you ever used Tailscale? Just installing it on each device (and logging in with an account you already own) is the only thing you have to do to create a tunnel. You enable HTTPS certificates requires clicking on two links and enabling

He’s able to test on a local network. It is a certificates problem, not a network one. The article’s OP is wrong here: > So to test this, I’d need both ends of the communcation [sic] to be on the public internet with proper certificates.

Where can one read the part of POSIX which describe Coreutils? I always thought those were just GNU tools.

Shame that an extra 30 EUR must be paid for French users to use the non-legacy AZERTY+ (NF Z71-300) keyboard layout. I believe the only one proposed is the old AZERTY layout.

Following that rationale, why haven’t we kept using H.264, when H.265 started existing?

Reverting to bow and crossbows wouldn’t reduce the amount of people killed. Look up “tactical crossbow” (or assault crossbow) in your favorite search engine.

This is why some fonts like Atkison Hyperlegible use reverse slashed zero, which removes the confusion.

Sadly, only a handful of GPUs out there have hardware AV1 encoding chips. If I read the product page correctly, that new M3 architecture still cannot encode AV1 from hardware.

I don’t know about OP, but, personally, the reason I don’t subscribe to premium is because they get aggressive on ads on purpose (waves of unskippable ads followed by a YouTube Premium subscription request the day after), which I believe is

For those looking for a similar project in Zsh, it is built-in into the shell – search for `zparseopts` in `man zshmodules`.

I use Zsh at home, and PowerShell 5 (for DSC 1.1) and 7 at work. I love both. I would almost be tempted to use pwsh as my main shell on Linux, but I am too attached to Zsh’s amazing RPROMPT!

Aliases can be redefined in certain situations (such as compiling a LCM configuration into a MOF for use with PowerShell DSC). The only safe way to script is to use the full command names (Verb-Noun).

When does one decide whether an environment is a test? I would like to test SMTP notifications of a staging server at work, approximately 15 million emails to be sent. This is NOT production, but those 300 ms spikes would be unacceptable. T

The comment you replied to means "reproduce" as in reproducible-builds[.org]. Needing to be on macOS to sign Mach-O binaries makes builds less reproducible than also having a Linux way of signing the builds.
