Such things exist but are incredibly expensive. For example, I can't remember where I saw it (some show I saw like 20 years ago), but some really expensive industrial process has a vacuum sealed double walled vessel. Basically, a Hydro

I don't exactly group them the way most would. I blend what Wikipedia calls Golden Age and New Wave together, where you had a ~40 year block of amazing authors cranking out most of today's top 100 list. Then, after that, you have

Greg Bear, I think, may be the last of the major classic scifi authors. Author C Clarke is gone, so is Frank Herbert and Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov. I can't think of any who are still alive who belong to that club.

As far as I know, they still use beef tallow for the Asia ones, which were the original actually healthy fries (well, as far as fries can be, anyways) sold by McDs in the states before Big Veg Oil screwed over the food industry.

I've actually inquired about that, since I'm Paleo. You can buy beef that is frozen the same day its butchered from small local farms, and from the people I know who have done that (and have half a cow in their chest freezers to p

Cree hasn't sold one tuned just for agriculture. Instead, people have been using two specific CRI90 variants of the CXB3590, which are quite generic (but the highest PPF/watt on the market until these new ones).

Digikey, Mouser, etc, all carry Cree parts. Rapidled.com also carries all the important parts used for DIY grow lamps, and probably will end up carrying them when they get released.

Finally. People have been using Cree CXB3590 3000k CRI90 for flowering, 5000k CRI90 for veg for top tier grow rigs for a while now, nice for Cree to recognize that. Also, they quote "up to 3.25 PPF/watt", which is kind of unh

The article opens with 774, which would have coincided with the Charlemagne Event, and was recorded. I imagine if I look into the other dates listed, they also coincide with recorded events.

Although the font did really try to nail its goal, I think Iosevka really nailed it. On top of that, somebody took some of what Atkinson did with their font, and applied it to Iosevka, using its insanely powerful ability to be customized wi

Although the answer is literally yes, it is meaningfully no. I have a keyboard that uses plate mounted Cherry MX reds, not lubed, pre re-tool (so the stems are a smidgen wobbly), and otherwise unremarkable. It is now 10 years old. None of t

Metformin did pan out, but the research seems to indicate One Meal A Day would have to be employed with it, as Metformin seems to interfere with autophagy. Lack of autophagy seems to be the biggest cause of the effects of old age, as the
