Yeah, I agree. Also doesn't help education of the public due to all the weird forms. It isn't as bad as how the B complex works; a bunch of different vitamins who keep appearing next to each other in numerous reactions.

Sounds like something you should bring up with your doctor. The only thing I've ever seen is a link between specifically MK7 (currently only sourced from Natto; MK4 is what you normally see in all other fermented foods and the majority

That's my pet theory as well: the standard American diet (SAD) is low in both Vitamin C (which is used as enzymatic cofactor in dozens of reactions, and is also necessary to build collagen) but also low in Vitamin K2 (necessary in form

This also could be true. To be absolutely fair to both sides, we're in a rough transitory period due to intra-project politics. Some people have a better time on X11, some on Wayland, and its down to which distro they're on and ho

Systemd basically became its own in-place rewrite. Theres still a lot of thorns in it, but, for example, Debian's build of it just strips it down to only working parts; everything else is either optional or replaceable with pre-systemd

90% of Ubuntu's mistakes are "a little of column A, a little of column B". As in, they sometimes have good ideas, and then just entirely butcher the implementation: either they do it directly (Unity and Mir's in-house de

This is false. Sounds like you've accidentally compared Wayland to X11 (which has nothing to do with your choice of DE; GNOME and KDE continue to support both for now, and both are looking to remove X11 support over the next two-three

That isn't a KDE-related bug, but a Wayland related bug. GNOME using Wayland also has this bug: Wayland apps that do not internally deal with HiDPI scaling don't get scaling. Both GNOME and KDE's WMs recently supported WM-sid

This is correct, but lacking context: If you don't select the desktop task, no desktop is installed; if you select the desktop task, but no specific version of it, it installs GNOME. There are also KDE, XFCE, LXDE, and maybe others, to

As a long time Debian user, I agree with their choice. Their thought process is logical and sound. Not sure I agree with their continued use of GNOME, though; seems the land of the Linux desktop has abandoned GNOME's years of user-host

The last time I had to participate in a RHEL install, the installer would do ext4 if <16TB, xfs if >16TB. I find this size unusually arbitrary, but I suspect Red Hat found unwanted behavior in some ext related code. This was after the

That sucks. I know a lot of Android users that prefer f2fs over ext* due to reliability and performance concerns, and seem to at least have some concrete reason to believe so.

I think you meant ZFS, not zsh. I use both XFS and ZFS. XFS in any situation where it is a single drive (ie, my laptop), ZFS in any situation where I'm doing actual fault tolerant high performance storage stuff. I don't see where

I'm a fan of XFS. I've used it for over a decade for all systems that don't need ZFS. In fact, due to the lifespan of the headless box under my desk (ie, predates bootable ZFS root partitions under Linux), its root partition
