What's amazing is the power of their message. There is just too much money to gain by Tesla competitors and investors who bet against Tesla. All the negative headlines going into this quarter results had little to no substance, but wer

As supply chains become more automated, they slowly start to migrate back to the US. These tariffs will accelerate the process. https://www.vox.com/2017/5/26/15656120/manufacturing-jobs-au... Perhaps you

Google uses the lyrics to link you to Google Music, so they end up profiting from the content they scrapped. Honestly if it was any small business doing this, there would be no harm, but considering Google can place themselves at the top o

Google is such a large company, with so many different teams and goals, that it is hard to believe that the words of someone, even as high as the CEO, represent the practices of all the employees. Good on Google to support ETH.

I don’t feel that the pat in the back is necessary when highlighting these realities of the world economic inequality. The whole article could have been published without the intense PR focus. To clarify, there is no hard numbers around the

That's not how the business model works. You pay for the impressions delivered and the cost of the data used for targeting. If I get no conversions, who pays Slate.com for the million of impressions that nobody clicked on?

Go into a McDonald’s or another restaurant. Are you honestly excusing drunken wealthy people coming out of bars and treating the streets of the Mission like it’s a public urinal?

In SF, there is major organized crime. It’s very obvious. I remember that during my first year in SF, a travel bag was found with a man mutilated inside. I live in a cheap studio in the Mission to save on rent. The things I see remind me of

Of course we do that. But then how do you validate that wasn’t a bot generating a request trying to increase the publishers traffic? Do you trust the publisher blindly? You need some sort of insight into the web request other than a single

I am aware of ITP. There is no ad-tech without targeting. There are >50 million ad opportunities out there at any second, you need to target to delivery the message to a proper recipient. Attribution is a bottom of the chain problem, oft

We track for targeting, not for attribution. I don't see any benefit for the targeted individual or the advertiser coming out of this proposal. This proposal only brings benefits for the parties on the publisher chain who now have one

Cities don’t have border gates. As the article states, the number of homeless people is increasing at a higher rate than other population growth factor. SF is taking on the burden of a full state and some of the country.

I strongly disagree. There are many ways to combat misinformation that do not involve censorship. There is nothing to applaud about oppression driven government censorship.

Not sure why you are being downvoted, it is true. There is no "innovation" whatsoever if the technology doesn't work. Apple and other makers have been playing with the technology and understood the risks of putting this devic

Siri integration did it for me. I have CarPlay and Spotify just didn’t support Siri controls the way Apple Music does. It’s always about the features.

People dismiss the cost of maintaining the platform. I believe Apple’s cut is too much, but Spotify has to pay for the platform, the same way artists pay Spotify for a platform to share their music.
