> Taking control of $100,000 robots to manufacture does have value at the high-end, but still can't compete with humans at the low end. The problem with robots isn't the physical cost vs a human, it's the task flexibility

What was cutting edge about the Switch? It was innovative and a great product, but I'm not sure anything in it was cutting-edge from a technology perspective. Something doesn't have to be cutting-edge though to be innovative, fun,

Despite what that site says, the Tegra X1 isn't a CPU or Processor - it is a SoC. i.e. The X1 is a chip which contains lots of stuff including some processors from 2012.

It was launched in 2017 with a SoC from 2015, and the SoC contained a CPU that launched in 2012. Contrast this with the PS5, which launched in 2020 with an AMD Zen 2 CPU which launched in 2019.

I do think there is a use case in work - I can imagine sitting down and doing CAD in a 'real 3D' environment once the resolution and responsiveness are high enough (probably still with a keyboard and mouse).

There is a minor irony that the author has another blogpost on how micromanaging bosses are awful, because they insist that you should work their way rather than your own way. Perhaps the learning here is just "managing engineers to de

It just seems silly to me that in a world where we have robots that can screw bolts on a car, and in a world where humans hate screwing bolts onto cars for 40 hours a week, we would want to put a policy that makes the human the more attract
