This may have been improved recently. I downloaded and ran it on my Linux laptop and it worked instantly. the config file was self-documenting.

Woah, I wonder how much atmospheric heating of earth these storms are causing. (A quick google of NASA suggests: it can be several gigawatt-hours of power from one event, even accounting for the bulk of it being radiated back into space.)

OK, but how many pages is too many? I can understand what you're saying for say, 1 to 20 pages, but it doesn't make any sense to me to go to hundreds, or worse, thousands of pages.

Yes! Additionally, it hurts users when the data is changing beneath them. Rows can appear twice or disappear as you move between pages.

I agree, I've had both (from Nikon). Plastic tends to bounce, metal bends. The plastic lenses stand up to a bearing very well.
