This is great, thanks Matt. After using this for less that 12 hours and I think it's fantastic. I also think it could be vastly improved upon. What if you added reddit style "up" and "down" votes to my results? Maybe it sounds silly at fir

thank you so much. I was interested in the article, but couldn't continue reading past the labels. I'm surprised that forbes.com (ostensibly a reputable magazine) has gone with a "2leep" style layout. Adsense "clickbombs" everywhere and c

I've read all of Vinge's work and it really is phenomenal. It's been years since I read it and can only remember vague concepts now... the singularities, the 'focus' drug that makes his programmers super-human. I really must read them agai

I got a LOT out of 4HWW, I haven't quit my job and gone freelancing yet - but now that you mention it, it sounds like a good idea. 4HB I can say that I don't feel like I've gotten anything of value from it. I felt really disappointed and

I would almost be ready to hazard a guess that it's exactly as big as Netflix' library. Many recent articles from Netflix has talked about how they have dealt with moving everything to AWS. Wouldn't it make sense if some company like Ama

As much as I'm NOT here to stick up for Nic and his site, he is telling the truth that this is a 3rd party service. http://www.intellichat.com/demo is one of a number of services like that. You put a tiny fake-ai-chatbot on the page to

I met my Girlfriend (of a year this Thursday) on OKCupid. I've always been impressed by the extremely high quality of the matching on OKC. They're by far the best online dating I've seen.

Looks good at first glance. It's late at night so I've also not tried it yet. There's something "missing" on the landing page but I can't quite tell what it is. Just a feeling I have. I've been messing around with Corona since we all read

Despite your downvote, I agree with this. Two things came to my mind when I landed on the page with links to 256 articles. 1) this isn't a "summary" of articles this is a "list of" articles. There's no time savings to be had by going throu

Ben, this is really interesting. I was under the impression that Playtomic was a one man operation, but the idea that you're managing 300 million requests a day boggles my mind. (at my office we've got a team to handle that). I'll have to

Honestly, I really quite like 4HWW - it changed my point of view on a lot of things. I felt really ripped off by 4HB and still think there is a dangerous 'signal to noise' ratio in there. With just over a week to have calmed down though -

I've read 4 Hour Body and think it was terrible. Self indlugent, misleading (at best) and dangerous (at worst). There were numerous 1 star reviews on Amazon.com that summed up my thoughts pretty well, so I'll not drone on here about it...

I don't know, I think it reads like bad advertising copy. Cliche'd metaphor made on a tenuous link but without any of the added wit and je-ne-sais-quois that makes (good) copy fun to read. I strongly disliked a number of things about it.
