Out of curiosity, why would C or C++ not be good for web services?

No way, I didn't know Abebooks was owned by Amazon. I always found it far easier to use than Amazon's own site for finding books.

Very interesting, I did not know you could use a RPi as a second processor. My dad has a 6502 second processor and we were wowed by the hidden line removal and colour on Elite at the time. Didn't make me play any better though. I just

Conversely, your entire statement could be said about Google or Facebook surely??? Thought-provoking for sure. I suppose we are all bystanders in these commercial battles and I am not sure we all win. Sorry times.

I have noticed this too. It is very odd. I suppose everybody walking around with 2 cameras and a microphone in their pocket with widespread high-speed Internet connectivity is too much of a chance to miss for some institutions / agenci

I wonder if it is not so much "the cult of the free" as "the art of directionless misspending". Look at all the projects Mozilla got involved in that were not really related to the browser. Also, from the list of jobs la

I used the first version and remember it being like a stripped-down version of Firefox at the time. It was the same codebase but with most of the useful UI ripped out.
