I'm working on a visual novel, and I suspect 'low tech' people will enjoy playing it. I also suspect 'low tech' people don't have steam installed on their computers, but they will know how to click a link and p

I think you can easily log out to the browser console. I believe hooking up a debugger to your IDE is also possible. I haven’t tried it yet though: https://emscripten.org/docs/porting/Debugging.html ? Maybe I’ll gi

I’m happy for you to code your game however you want. I like doing it this way.

Yeah I suppose you’re right. Probably makes more sense for new projects to be in Raylib than to move a Unity project over. Another big thing is it doesn’t support iOS at the moment.

You should be able to if you click view source in the example. It’s a lot of not that interesting code so I didn’t include it in the blog post.

Absolutely, when Unity changed their pricing I expected more people to switch to Raylib. It really makes Game Dev fun again. Also it has tons of bindings (you don’t have to code in C)

How do you expect them to do that? Also I highly suspect a large portion of people on Github are aware that Bitcoin and other crytpo projects use a lot of energy.

Raylib is excellent, I've been working on it with the Rust bindings to build a little game. Very good API and awesome performance. Reminds me of Microsoft's XNA Framework.

This guy sounds insufferable. First thing he says to his “coachee” is along the lines of “if I said what you just said to me, how would you feel!” How about you just say what you think, instead of making her guess what you’re saying

I read your comment, didn't understand your explanation. Then I read the article and understood. I liked the slower break down in the article.

No it requires an internet connection to use my app. I could make an offline version, but it's not something many users are asking for.

Very true, the majority of my new users find my web app through Google search. If Google decided to remove me from their search results I would lose a large amount of revenue.

I built the Android app in 2013, and my best selling web app in 2021. The web app has just gotten beyond the $10,000 USD monthly recurring revenue metric. About the same really.

I think browser push notifications are considered a bit of a failed standard. Lots of browser's don't support them e.g. iOS browsers.

I had an app that was making about $10,000 USD a month. It was taken down by Google because apparently I copied some other developer's iOS app. I asked them to tell me the name of the iOS app they believed I copied. They named the iOS

Very clever, I enjoyed getting past all that. I have seen the "needs-to-be-deleted" placeholder text in the wild before. It's very silly.

I think they lost a lot of growth because of the bad PR from Twitter. Twitter started with rails and constantly went down. Rails was blamed for the downtime, perhaps unfairly.

Agree with everything except the last line. You outlined one path to creating a successful SaaS company, but there are other paths.

Monit does to this produce a live feed. It’s kind of annoying sometimes, you lose highlighted text.
