Note: 30% faster than a thermally challenged i9 on a MacBook Pro, not a desktop one. Given the comments on similar threads, I feel this needs to be mentioned.

Look up "third place", it's a really fascinating concept which I've been obsessed with for a long time and I really want to solve it, at least for me. I feel my long-term sanity depends on it. The gist is people used to

While your comment gave me a chuckle, I find it's (perhaps unintentional) flame bait which will steer the discussion into an unproductive crapfest instead of staying on the topic, which is alcoholism in America. That's to say, it

Good for you. Sorry I don't have a better analogy, but it's like coming home from a tour in the military, and telling everybody "hey guys, war is perfectly safe, look at me I'm still alive!" — I'm really happy

Sorry, I downvoted you, I hate when people think they're immune. They're one of the reason other people find themselves addicted to it. It's irresponsible and frankly immature. Smoking one or 100 cigarettes doesn't guara

Telling yourself there is no light switch in you, that you are stronger or better equipped than others, is a dangerous way to eventual relapse. Though for your own sake I really hope I am wrong.

I have no idea. I'm just saying that quitting smoking will be one of those three. Probably not the hardest, but it's up there. FWIW it's the hardest thing I've done in my 34 years of age, it's taken me 10+ years to

I've only spent a lot of time with homebrew, apt, yum, dnf, pacman, and the latter is miles ahead in speed, efficiency, with the only drawback behind non-sensical option mnemonics: so instead of `pacman update all`, you get used to doi
