The point is to very roughly quantify that selection bias, no? Obviously, if Go neglects certain areas or doesn't fit well enough, people who consider those areas important don't use Go and are not represented in the survey.

No need for adult trivia captchas, since this is not an actual issue to deal with. Adults are already responsible for children and have to guard them from all kinds of perceived and real danger.

Business friendliness is not an ideological choice. Maybe a careless choice or a calculated one. But I don't think anyone has strong beliefs in it. Hence, the OSI side is fighting with an agenda. FSF, on the other hand, is ideologicall

So, no reason then. That overhead is like microseconds and you can disable it if it bothers you (you have to configure web browsers for MITM anyway). I actually disable QUIC myself, because I've noticed it slows everything down too muc

No, it's not like that. The decision to go through "Conversion Therapy" under pressure is like a manifestation of harm already done to a person, it's not necessarily harmful in itself. As I said in another comment, it&#x

Everyone has to hide who they are to some extent. This is just the world we live in, societies are awful to people. Again, the harassing, harming and attacking is done by other people, not by the "Conversion Therapy".

Well, in your explanation the shaming part still comes from other people, like parents, who pressure the person to go through with it. They are the ones harming the person, not the Conversion Therapy. It cannot harm anyone on its own at all

Depends on the service. It's more convenient for subscribers to use a single place and a known brand. No need to establish trust and figure out another platform. As a result you get more subscribers, way more than the cut they take.

Towers are connected through fiber. Mobile companies in general don't compete with each other at all and just continuously raise prices until too many customers starts leaving or regulators and politicians start to notice.
