By that point Uber had already been operating for 2 years. I'm questioning whether they launched knowing full well they were shirking the law, or if they launched, realized they were in legal trouble, and then proceeded to not give a s

So if we make jokes about outlandishly wild behavior it's now not OK? As a professional? No, it damn well isn't. Why is that difficult to understand? Hell, I would expect better of basically any grown adult over the age of 25. O

The very foundation of the company that we are discussing is something that was illegal in virtually every jurisdiction that they entered. I think this is rewriting history just a bit. My recollection is that, when Uber first entered the

There's fundamental physiological difference. It's not clear there is. Consider this part of the article: Yet Honnold ended up scared, really scared, on Corrugation Corner. He clung to the big, friendly holds. “I overgripped t

To all those people attacking this guy, I think it's important to point out that free soloing is absolutely controversial in the climbing community, for exactly this reason. Heck, Clif dropped some climber sponsorships, including Honn

The BBC buggered this up in an article when they covered it. Comparing it to the Dawn Wall climb completely misses the point and illustrates how misunderstood the sport is. Freeing a previously seemingly impossible-to-climb route is not th
