I think the answer is simple: Revenue isn't the most important thing right now. There are many things that make a successful company and revenue is only one of them. Google makes enough money to pay their employees well, to make investments

Well there's no denying iOS is the king of responsiveness in the mobile sector, but to be honest, I can't really say the same thing on OS X vs Windows 7. I use both on a daily basis and Win7 is definitely the most rock solid OS Microsoft ev

The thing that bothers me the most is that Sonys decisions often reflect what's good for them and not what's good for their customers. All piracy aside, custom firmware made the original PSP a much better device for the user in general. You

Hm you don't play much games, do you? A real time strategy game like Starcraft would be pretty much unplayable with a smartphone. Look at any list of best-selling video games. None of these titles would be better with a smartphone controlle

Yeah, I agree IE box model makes more sense. Padding is basically useless if it adds to width, most of the time you end up creating inner divs with margins to simulate padding. Didn't know you can toggle the behavior in Moz/WebKit, good to

So is the start menu gone completely? With Windows7 it was actually on the way to become something like Spotlight (just not as good yet). I can't believe they'd patch that out, instead of improving on it, Windows needs something like Spotli

Got a Razer Deathadder, they come with their own OSX drivers that seem to circumvent the issue. Also sad to see so many Magic Mouse users here ;) I know everybody has their own preferences, but that is not a good mouse.
