In good tradition the most critical comment is the top voted on HN. Yada Yada indie life is hard, but no one with a right mind would think of connecting the client directly to the remote master database. This is just so WTF on so many level

There's no infringement here, the pigs look different and there doesn't seem to be any stolen art or something. So Rovio probably couldn't do anything anyway.

Buy the right thing for your daughter, that you think will influence her in the right way? How come the responsibility to raise a child lies not in the parents anymore, but rather in companys and what they want to sell to them. Nothing is s

A little bit too simple for me. I guess it supposed to look cool and sleek, but I don't know, something is odd about just 4 lines. What do you guys think?

Am I the only one who agrees? Obviously going back to something like BeOS is a little extreme, but fact is OS X Lion made things worse. I don't need LaunchPad or AirDrop or the AppStore, oh and thanks for hiding my Library folder and revers

Headline is not true. Motorola won a patent case and now can make Apple stop selling iPhones/iPads, they didn't yet. At that point Apple's lawyers will appeal the ruling and who knows where it goes from there.

Something tells me people using Bingo Card Creator aren't the most technical people and these little download screenshots would make much more beneficial there than on the Dropbox page ;)

There goes one of the greatest game-designer of our time. I remember his talk from E3 this year, where he - between the lines - criticized most of the modern game-design. Some of the points he made: - Gameplay is everything. Games are about

Most of the time, you loose the "crispness" of the final image with AA and everything tends to look a little bit blurry. Couple that with fact, that it drops the FPS by quite a bit and over time I got slowly conditioned against AA. However

How's that heavily damaging? Google is known to be open about its workings, and I think most people agree that an engineer explaining underlying concepts is a positive thing. Putting up NDAs on every little thing is just silly and annoying.

Well of course. The whole topic of inequality stems from us acting like the evolutionary animals we all are inside. The only way to counter act is to consciously analyze these behaviors and try to adjust ourselves.

Yes this is much worse and should get 10x the attention. The reason comparatively minor iPhone scandal gets so big is because everything Apple related gets now over-hyped in the media. You could say Jobs has marketed the Apple brand very we

Are they gonna redesign Google now every 2 month? I mean the new Google Bar looks ok, but the "old" black one is stylish too, so why just throw it out after such short period of time?
