A classic 'multidimensional' preference is a set of roommates all of whom have to decide both what space they want to take in an apartment and how much they want to pay for that space. https://www.youtube.com/watch

Other people's gripes aside, I enjoy that the authors approach to avoiding out-of-bounds errors almost exactly mirrors Java's nio Buffer interface.

Programming as a profession is strange because we each do such different things but all tools are available to us all the time. Imagine if this were true in the physical world; you would read arcticles written by accountants like "Dyna

Think about the cottage industry of programmers who produce and maintain Wordpress websites for their clients. I think just like any other industry, there is need for products on many points of the [mass produced <--> bespoke] spectru

I think people are just used to a certain page, just like they are/were used to their favorite local news station. I doubt most people periodically run tests to see which search engines return the most relevant results for them. Plus,

This move to Bluetooth very much seems like planned obsolescence. In sure in a few years all the issues people have with Bluetooth will be "solved" by a whole incompatible spec. The only problem with the 3.5m jack is that it'
