The proof is in the pudding. AMD has excellent hardware and has had years now to get anything going. They didn't, and they don't so our best guess is, they won't.

The spill has to remain in the keyboard area. Friend of mine in college spilled.. I think beer?.. on this Thinkpad. He instinctively grabbed it (me, across the room, yelling to keep it stable) and turned it to the side. The fluid got into t

AMD does not do ML. They don't have the capability and engineers, nor desire in their leadership, to develop the software stack.

For ML projects, conda is still better since it usually manages to resolve a working environment including pytorch and cuda. Sure, it doesn’t lead to the same exact environment on every machine, but that stuff never ever works anyway at lea

Funnily enough, Poetry only just very recently started to properly support PyTorch (you know, which seemingly 90% of Python usecases nowadays require). Like, it would not work across different setups with Arm, Cpu and Gpu machines, which is

I am locked in on Apple software by now, mostly due to work hardware. In that case, i find that really only the Apple reminders app makes remotely sense. Apple does not allow any other todo app to have meaningful integration with os feature

How do y'all get excited for EVs? I know my next car will need to be an EV, but I just can't get excited for any of them. They all go fast in a straight line, are heavy and look like overweight SUV style. Otherwise, they seem eeri
