I'm pretty convinced there are a lot of sellers on these third party marketplaces that arrive with a truckload of Widget A - once Widget A sells out, they're gone... on to the next thing or rebranded and selling Widget C. Especial

Best Buy has done a pretty admirable job digging out from what seemed like a surefire death sentence. Target and Walmart weren't dead, but Amazon was eating their lunch. What they are doing much better at now is the hybrid e-commerce&#

I can see how it can do just that, but I explain our "culture" as best I can before evaluating candidates against it. Example: My workplace has a great deal of change, bordering on ambiguity. We need people who can deal with that

From the article: If you think you flubbed an answer, ask during the interview for what they were looking for! Or, I've had success framing that up at the end of the interview as: "Is there anything I didn't say today you hop

Are you insinuating that any improvement is not worth pursuing? Let's look at this a different way: I have COVID and I'm contagious. I don't know that, of course, so I go to the grocery store. The same grocery store you'

The "old" Reddit we loved is precisely what kept a lot of people away - it was walls of text with basic, minimalist design language. I personally loved it (hence why HN appeals to me) but I understand why lots of folks wouldn'

I actually considered doing so, but frankly, upon broader review of the situation, it's clearly a lost cause. I genuinely don't think Etsy cares to solve this problem.

Etsy used to have a much higher ratio of what I would call artisanal goods to the mass produced drop-shipped crap prevalent now. I recently shopped Etsy for a handmade lamp. I filtered to US-only, handmade goods. I waded through pages of ju

I started this as a habit last year - it has totally changed my gift giving. I think the recipients value the gifts more because they're more thoughtful and it's made the weeks leading up to Christmas much more relaxed.

That day was a nightmare for a lot of people - it wasn't just S3 that went down, it was like all of US-EAST. Luckily my company decided against multi-az for the cost savings so I spent all day firefighting.
