That might be the content of what Kant is speaking about, but I think the method/process of what he is speaking about is interesting and deserving of attention too. "Thanks be to Nature, then, for the incompatibility, for heartles

I agree with your point in general and dislike political drama which is often a headache, but people are starving and dying and being held hostage out there... so I don't really think this is the time where that sentiment is appropriat

The person being replied to was talking about technical aspects similar between the two (functionality like HiDPI and performance) while you're mentioning socially-oriented differences. I would say both statements are true but that wha

It does sound very much like an overreaction, from the manufacturer of these devices. "The man who made the devices said there’s little someone inside could actually do with a hacked Securebook. They’d need to fashion a USB port, be ab

That's an interesting thought and makes me think, because of declining birth rates and an ageing population, Apple will have fewer and fewer people to sell phones to as time goes on.

That’s pretty cool. I wonder how JetBrains IDEs and VS Code manage to detect the installed shells (zsh, bash, PowerShell, etc.) in the first place since I certainly have no idea how to do it in either Java or JavaScript. Maybe they write pl

I can't speak about what the person you replied to intended, but there are a few things that come to mind. One is Unicode grapheme clusters (UAX29/the segmentation rules specifically) which browsers are expected to follow. Those r

I think that's just like one C++ application being faster than another equivalent C++ application due to using smarter data structures and whatnot. VS Code and Atom have different code bases with different decisions and that makes a di

Yes. I tried that with some software-based synthesisers (like the SWAM violin and Reason's Friktion) which are designed for human-playing (humans controlling the VST through a device that emits MIDI CC control messages) but my understa

Regarding your point about music: There are subtle and deliberate deviations in timing and elements like vibrato when a human plays the same song on an instrument twice, which is partly why (aside from recording tech) people prefer live or

I didn't know that. Thanks for the information. I think Apple's trademark lawsuit against a.pl (Polish grocery site) [0] failed for that reason, so it seems good that the concept looks like it's limited to specific fields. h
