Some will argue that "bigotry" has suffered from concept creep though. People will readily call me one for saying I believe gender is immutable or that I believe intercourse with the same gender is a sin, but I'm not wishing

Would you mind explaining what TFA means, as I've seen that acronym quite a bit here? "The f-g article"?

Hi Dan. Sorry for bringing up something irrelevant, but I was wondering if it was possible to hide from myself how many likes/upvotes I've gotten? I just don't want to be an attention monster whose ego is inflated on seeing t

Would you mind describing a few of the things you like about Nova IDE? I never tried it, but it has my interest. I'd be happy to hear what you like and dislike about it.

I think trust is a strict synonym of faith, capacity to verify or no. Trust means to believe someone's claims, without certain 100% demonstrative proof. It ceases to be trust when you verify the claims yourself, but the capacity to ver

I think your first sentence that one "can't slander the dead" would be highly controversial, especially considering "don't speak ill of the dead" is an English proverb. I personally believe in that proverb (the

That excerpt you quoted reminds very much of Herbert Butterfield's The Whig Interpretation of History. The introduction starts by directly talking about that topic, on page 3 of the following PDF if anyone cares to read a little. He st

There have been criticisms of decision fatigue which you are referring to. You might have already been aware, but it might be worth mentioning since those who disbelieve in it have been reported as better at decision-making than those who b
