Hopefully there is one that is compatible with T-Mobile bands in the states that I can just buy outright.

I'm pretty sure it triangulates by a combination of liquor stores, nail salons and pawn shops.

So they basically took that feature out of Windows Home Server which pissed a bunch of people off and put it in 8. I'm guessing it will make a comeback to home server?

I think it's ironic that it's called the "envy". :)

Exactly. My only problem with Windows phones is that the choice of handsets is too inconsistent from provider to provider. I'd love to get my hands on that new Samsung Focus S but I don't want to deal with AT&T. With Android the same

One thing I like about the Xbox Live app on WP7 is that you can message people from the app and the live tile updates if you have a message waiting. I downloaded the new companion app but I havent tried it out yet to see what other integra

I don't know about changing the world but I will make a fitness/foodlog app for my Playbook.

I totally agree. You can always tell the people who didnt play Darksiders when they diss it as a God of War clone. :)

I'm thinking they'll create a software platform for their tv so that if you have a cable provider they will install their "app". Not only that but it'd be really crazy if other cable companies could install their own apps with their own "o

Spoken like someone who doesnt use one. The OS of the Playbook has as much in common as android does to Windows. As a tablet OS it is actually very good. Putting Android on it would be a downgrade imo.

I agree. While the lack of apps is an issue the tablet itself is fantastic. This is coming from someone who never used a Blackberry.

I was able to take advantage of the Best Buy pricing mistake for the 64gb Playbook and it really is a great tablet. I'm working on a fitness log app for myself right now but I can definitely see some potential.

I'm pretty sure that's how the UI is going to work. For those with ARM tablets it will probably be a 24x7 Metro UI.

I'm not saying it would have outsold the Iphone or anything but there was nothing wrong with the Kin itself. The phone plan killed it.

At the push of the button you'll be out of the Metro interface. It's not a hard concept.

This is so true. While i'd love to have a new 27" IMac I just can't justify getting rid of my 3GHz 2008 since it still works so well. It's like I just took it out of the box.

I love my Windows phone especially with the new update. The software actually makes up for the substandard hardware. On that note the new Iphone is pretty damn awesome.
