Some people might even say bombing hospitals of your enemies isn't off limits. Those people would be the Russian politicians. Let's do better.

> Ukrainians who started firing at a Russian convoy with RPGs. The way this is phrased makes it sound like the Russian convoy was minding its own business and suddenly Ukrainians started picking a fight -- which is clearly not the case.

It sounds about right to me. The person replying to you is assuming you don't want to spend any of the $2 mil and only live on interest and being very conservative. 5% a year historically makes sense. Years where you don't get tha

Though special relativity was coming no matter what, I don't think we would have had general relativity without Einstein for at least another couple decades, likely longer. We would have had it without Hilbert. Hilbert got the key insi

I definitely don't think modern diets are better than what I imagine Native Americans ate hundreds of years ago. Venison sounds like a very healthy staple in a diet.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlier You should make sure you understand what outliers are. The fact that you can name people from outside modern times that lived a long time is meaningless to the discussion.

Does NYC count as left? I went in after having diarrhea/vomit for 2 days, and all they did was give me a Covid test and send me away. I'm vaccinated. This was months ago, before omicron and the uptick in breakthrough cases. As a v

We're just starting the 20s. I don't think I ever heard of the decade from 1910 to 1919 being referred to as the 10s, but I definitely heard of the 20s. Maybe the first 20 years of a century are kind of hard to name, so, yeah it&#

Okay, well what I say refers to the US which has had general availability of the vaccine for a long time now. I would not argue places where people haven't had access to the vaccine should go back to normal yet.

Agreed. But the sad state of the world now is that many are still trying to figure out how to score political points. The virus that hit us in March 2020 was bad, but it's not March 2020 anymore. We need to move on as a society.
