I think it is disingenuous to say that countries are judged by persons and other nations by GDP alone.

This comment is only partially true, the realities of managing customers on routers with thousands of routes precludes this careful management at the rock bottom tier-1 transit prices of the lowest common demoninators. The way HE & Cog

Very well thought out rebuttal. I live in the convergence between telecom/network engineering and code, and I definitely see the disparity that you describe.

Users who state others use cases as irrelevant are dumb. As a router jockey, I use widescreen (laptops) for multiple terminal sessions, iterm2 with 4 or 6 80x40 cli windows.

Assume there are a minimum of three network operators involved in every flow; source, destination, and transport. It is highly likely that either the source or destination operator will have opportunity and motive to do said inspection

I use jq on simple projects and to prototype. It is lightweight, fast, and usually consistent in operation.

As an NSP architect I can tell you the hardest resource to procure is experienced talent that can operate a production network without trying to move fast and break things. Buying hardware with usable software is pretty critical when dealin

Hi Walter, this line of questions is not going to lead to a proof of your position. The S&P index removes failures, so your question fails to address survivor bias. Also, you argue the perfect over the good as a reason for status quo.
