For React forms and validation the combo of Formik and Yup is quite nice. Formik takes a schema prop specifically for integration with Yup, it's covered in the docs. https://github.com/jaredpalmer/formik https:&#

Just wanted to point out that JS has TCO coming, just a question of if/when engines have it implemented. Looks like Safari/JSCore is pretty much the only one so far though: https://kangax.github.io/compat-table

Solargraph is pretty good, but RubyMine is still much better at least in my experience. Hopefully Solargraph gets there eventually and I can go back to using VSCode for everything.

JetBrains still has some areas where they excel compared to VSCode, specifically Ruby for me right now. Maybe that will change as Solargraph[1] improves? [1] https://github.com/castwide/solargraph

I haven't run into this problem yet, but I certainly expect to at some point. Especially since my last name is even a bit more suggestive than simply 'butts' or 'weiner'.

In my experience most games with in-game voice chat don't turn it off when you're dead anyway so it wouldn't matter.

There are some quality third-party clients on mobile. I like Apollo on iOS right now.

In some cases there may be replacements, but they would require newer hardware as well (think expensive lab equipment, not just workstations), which brings the cost much higher than simply replacing the software. My father's environmen

Yeah, whatever is doing the resizing isn't doing a great job. You can see the original looks fine if you remove the query string: https://blog.trello.com/hs-fs/hubfs/desktop-shortcuts-conden... It's also

No plans to support specifically, but a surprising amount of things work simply due to their effort making the rest of it work.

From what I understand it's mainly translating system calls. It's been described as being like a reverse WINE, hence everyone replying 'Not an Emulator' at you. :)

Veeam Agent for Linux is a surprisingly nice and easy-to-use image-based backup for free. Backup my two home servers to my NAS, which syncs up to Backblaze B2.

As others have said, it does allow you to get much messier with your code than the rigid structure of Redux so you have to be more careful with your structure. My first MobX app was (and in some ways still is) a bit of a mess in spots. That

Apple also doesn't own a search engine though, I'm reasonably certain they would have tried the same thing if they did.

If that applied to this situation then Apple would be in trouble here with iOS too. You can run any browsers available in the store, but can't change the default. At least Apple lets you change your search engine, but they also don

Video games matter to many people, maybe not on the scale of a Sistine Chapel, sure, but there are legitimate efforts being made to preserve them like other works of art: https://gamehistory.org/who-we-are/

Pretty sure socket.io will be fine unless it falls back to HTTP polling, which iirc it shouldn't do in the newest version of Chrome unless something is misconfigured on one end.

From experience, that delay when you try to switch while it's using burn-in subtitles can increase quite a bit on slower servers, but as you said the switch does work (eventually).

He technically only said they don't run on dedicated machines, not that they run on GCP. My guess would be Google has some sort of internal system that probably uses a bunch of the same software but is technically not GCP.

Probably, but there does seem to be a trend according to some. Haven't taken the time to confirm myself, but John Oliver's team pulled out numbers where stories being surfaced on the right were false almost twice as much as those
