Same here. I've done it a few times as a dual-boot with my desktop and had issues that caused me to uninstall after a month or two. I think the trick is going to be buying hardware that's 100% compatible from one of the lists peop

Thinking about Hackintosh-ing. Can take or leave the hardware for the most part (especially on desktop, but they do still have the best trackpad), but there's nothing better than macOS for what I want in my dev environment.

I use it pretty much every day and it's very nice, especially for free. They've had their fair share of bugs, but patches come out pretty quick. Still interested in looking at Tower's new Windows version at some point, but I

So instead of ads you want a system where random relevant apps are floated to the top of searches? How is that helpful for anyone? Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like Apple is only doing what every other search system with e

I wouldn't think so, not if they're saying a percentage of all downloads come from search, as opposed to a percentage of all searches lead to a download.

Same here. I recommend making friends with some designers or looking around at pre-customized versions of Bootstrap. I also spent some time looking for this: http://jgthms.com/web-design-in-4-minutes/ One of my favorit

Wappalyzer ( https://wappalyzer.com/ ) tells me they're using Bootstrap ( http://getbootstrap.com/ ) (probably customized a bit). HTML isn't very difficult (just another markup language) and if you&#x

Of course I find out about this right after deciding on MobX for our latest project since my coworker was having trouble with Redux. I think this would have saved it, looks great.

Looks like this means HN's JavaScript is no longer just a single short script tag's worth. Definitely welcome changes, and thanks to those involved.

Seems like he means the Google app on iOS, so this would be the Google app telling him to use the Google Calendar app in theory.

Siri does kind of do a similar thing, to her a reminder is in the reminders app, you have to actually say alarm or timer if you want an alarm or a timer in the clock app, might be something similar with Google Now?

The problem being that with this particular vulnerability, you do get the correct text in your clipboard initially, it's just overridden less than a second later.

I have seen sites that have pages where you're placed in a queue (for whatever reason) and if you leave the page you will be dropped from the queue, so it's nice to have something preventing you from accidentally leaving, but that

The author noted that iTerm on MacOS notifies when a paste that's about to happen contains a newline. Cmder on Windows does this as well, it's a nice feature even outside of the security concerns.

Lists are still my favorite part of Twitter, but you're right, they have it hidden away. I prefer to use Twitter clients that let me view and edit my lists easily like TweetDeck and Tweetbot. I hardly ever load up twitter.com anymore.

Twitter's list creation feature seems to be underutilized by most people also. Having lists of people I follow (or even some that I don't, but are still in one of my lists) categorized by things like 'Tech News' and

Some of the libraries people were mentioning broke yesterday already have lodash as dependencies, I have no idea why they wouldn't have just been using this...
