I didn't understand, at the time of its last major refresh which was a fair while ago now, how SourceForge could be so resource intensive — all it needed to do was show links to download files. That was it. Instead, it was packed to th

I think it's for a more leisurely read. Not everybody consumes technical updates in such depth as those websites offer. There are plenty of Linux online magazines, not just those two, and they do just fine. It's never a bad thing

If that was on an old 3DS, that was probably true. On the "New" 3DS, though, with the additional eye tracking to make sure the 3D effect is stable, it's superb.

It does look like it uses Cocoa. What are you seeing that doesn't look like Cocoa? Custom controls doesn't count; those can still be based on NSView and use other Cocoa controls in their implementation.

That can make it look Apple-y but not feel Apple-y. And even then, it's a WindowBlinds kind of Apple-y.

Fortnite is the highest grossing free-to-play game, and the Epic store also takes a cut of games sold on their store. It's not 30% but the actual amount doesn't matter in the context of that particular part of the order.

I don't have time to reproduce results, nor should I be expected to do so. I trust the journal to trust the author. It's a chain of trust. I shouldn't have mentioned snobbiness; people've gotten caught up on the wrong pa

Indeed. I've seen some mightily acerbic rebuttals to other researchers' articles published as articles; I dread to think what a rebuttal to a review might look like. I'm sure someone will say "well, maybe the acerbicness

Not sensible at all. Being on the same processor architecture doesn’t mean the position within the product lineup will magically transform. Macs and iOS devices do different things for different use cases; their strengths and weaknesses are

No, why would you think that? Just because they’re on the same processor architecture? That’s a stretch. Macs are Macs whether they have Apple Silicon, Intel, or PowerPC inside; they remain the proverbial truck to iOS’ sleek car.
