The United States is experiencing this same phenomenon. See ‘Food Desert’. Poor parts of cities and ppor rural areas have been losing their grocery stores for years now.

It’s not a mistake. The tech industry wants low regulations, so they gut the government. Simple process, really.

I think using the src directory is a great idea. The tests can’t just reach over into the package anymore so you have to do an editable install, but the payoffs are big, as noted in the articles posted in a sibling comment.

Your process sounds like a Tower of Babel to me. The interests of these entities are in great conflict and their power over your limits of time and awareness are increasing all the time. In the end, your purchase is relying on so much effor

By premeditating that diagnosis will be of the individual, the society is assumed a constant. In science, we call that fraud. Effectively, clinical psychology serves apology for societal and economic ills by blaming the effects on the indiv

I’ll second that. I owe a great amount to those willing to publicly denounce TDD. If I had been a working developer as this nonsense ramped up, I would have avoided it too. Nobody really does TDD. It’s a mythical concept. Some sanity checks

This isn’t even the worst problem with psychology. The worst is it’s contextual loyalties against critiquing the relationsips people have with one another. Power struggles, to be particular.

You’re pretty much right on the nose. Of course, it depends on who they work for. Effectively, the American field of economics is an exercise in decoupling private reality from public theory.

I am already disappointed in post-Guido Python. Although the walrus operator makes enough sense to me, it doesn’t solve anything that I consider a problem so I can’t reason that it was worth going against so much pushback.
