Assumedly the sale of the service didn't also happen on international waters.

Yes, if I want to find someone to work with I certainly want someone that do care about not making a total mess in the VC history. Selecting for that seems like a very good thing, regardless of whatever else they contribute.

Huh? This is quite straightforward and is simply establishing what terms are used for describing the problem. The problem formulation itself seems to be the same as in any lower level course on optimization that is taught to regular masters

I must be missing something as this seems very basic. Assume A = vEv^T , where E is a diagonal matrix of eigenvalues and v is the transformation from A to E. Then A^n = vEv^TvEv^T..vEv^T. vv^T equals the identity matrix and will cancel out.

True, which is why Common Lisp accepts a parameter to specify which order the + should be applied - from left to right or vice versa. Left to right is default.

It is because there in general needs to be pretty big structural changes in the programs to make use of it properly.

I'd disagree. An abstraction is a way to reason about a problem. Often that reduces duplication, but it is a side effect from a better understanding of the problem.

Sequential IO is not dead for the simple reason that it is the simplest way of solving many problems. Often it will be good enough.

The underlying principle in Crystal is that data structures usually require explicit declaration while types of values passed around on the stack usually don't need to be declared. I find it makes it easy to reason about the result whi

It is certainly a strong argument that "move fast and break things" create a lot of code that needs to be rewritten.

Yeah. I'd classify a month as vacation. I was out of commission for three quarters when it happened to me and I'm not certain that was enough.

For what it's worth, this is essentially what Crystal does, though by introducing a union type instead of an optional.

I'd rather think they hate it for being a word salad with lots and lots of boilerplate. Go has its issues, but that isn't one of them.

While what you are saying is true, there has also been a tremendous amount of investment in energy efficiency, and that is something that I would expect to continue for quite a while.

That sounds very location dependant and not necessarily feasible at all given higher and higher share of wind power being used. That hydro will be needed during periods of low wind to stabilise everything else.

Regarding your second sentence in particular, the Haber Bosch process already make ammonia out of hydrogen. That it usually take hydrogen produced out of methane is something that can be changed.

Shifting electric prices due to wind power is a strong motivation to pool it though.

It is not. Thankfully the electricity required for hydrolysis can either be moved around or created sufficiently close to a steel plant.

Isn't that better solved by not allowing templates to be passed around and blanks filled in later but instead force them to be executed immediately? This is the case in Ruby and while there have been plenty cases of code injection, I&#

Depends. For example, if the slowness comes from sequentially emitting a lot of http requests, a lot of performance can be gotten from doing it concurrently.

A mmorpg would have user churn though, so even if it aquired more users to offset that the end result would be less coins in circulation. In other words: The system is already broken by design. Using a single consistent server would not cha

That still sounds like a situation where the merchants could shop around and where a functioning market could be created. That is a lot harder with the transaction fees as merchants typically don't charge different prices to customers
