While what you are saying is true, there has also been a tremendous amount of investment in energy efficiency, and that is something that I would expect to continue for quite a while.
- stingraycharles 4y agoI know my mother (based in .nl) had her heater set to 14 degrees because she simply couldn’t afford the gas bill. And there are huge threads on Reddit about people in similar situations in .nl last winter. My personal gas+electricity bill went from €180 a month to almost €600. I really think the price of energy is a huge influence in the reduction of usage.
