I think the main reason is the general feeling that Quora is being hyped into unexplainable proportions.

Well, nothing here is groundbreaking. This is the internet after all. Always make sure you know where you are getting your information from.

This can't be stressed enough. The last Startup Weekend that took place in Tel Aviv[1] has showed me exactly how important proper execution is. Great ideas are never a guarantee for success. Having an environment that cultivates top-notch

Another fairy just died. These "articles" bear no meaning whatsoever. TFA is nothing more than a concoction of technical gibberish copy-pasted from the NowJS website, for the mere purpose of having another piece of content to publish.

Do not confuse elitism with minimalism. Git is simply easier to use, and harder to shoot yourself in the foot with - at least when it comes to the basic flows. (Granted, you can blow your face off with git if you really try hard). When bran

You do have a point that web services cannot be pirated, and if they could be, the HN community would have a different view on things. I'm not sure that's the case. Let's start with the base assumption that piracy is something that exists,

Beautiful landing page. I think it's worth clarifying up front whether you support gmail or if this is just a facade for Mail.app. It's not quite clear who the target market for this is. Otherwise - looks amazing.
