Salary doesn't mean much. Total compensation for L3 should be around 180k in the bay area these days I believe. When I was at Google, my final salary was only half my total compensation.

Oh sure, L4 within the decade for companies other than Tesla, totally doable. You could argue Waymo and Cruise are already there with geo limitations. But Tesla within a year with no lidar? Yeah, no. Not happening.
