Well since articles more often have comments like mine, maybe you're in the minority of locations that have a decent taxi service? Last time I took a taxi, it was on the East coast and it took an hour for someone to show up. I called 3

Outside of NYC, every taxi experience has been an absolute nightmare. Scams, CC machines never working, unreliable, sketchy, going a longer route to rack up the meter. Sometimes they'd just never show up when you called one and you

You're mixing up general health/a good diet with what causes weight loss. I'm simply here trying to get people to understand that the vast vast majority of what causes weight changes is how many calories you're consume,

NO. IT. DOESN'T. "As much"? Are you joking? This is why America is overly obese. So many people like you make weight loss seem so complicated when it's not. CICO is the vast vast vast vast vast majority of the situation.

It honestly feels like most of the people here are being purposely obtuse. Why in the world would you think you need to reply with this? I CLEARLY meant, all activities the same, 2000 calories is 2000 calories. I even mentioned that you

BMR variance is significant. It's like the core to any weight loss story. What I'm trying to say is that trying to change your BMR through some diet is a fool's errand. Just figure out your BMR and consume fewer calories

It's not the most common advice. Not many understand what causes weight gain and weight loss. As evidenced by my massive amount of downvotes.

You don't understand that different people will burn different amounts of calories as a base? I'm not and have never said that if two people eat the same amount, it'll impact them the same. I said that you need to burn more c

And what I'm saying is that is a micro optimization that doesn't matter too much. It over complicates weight loss.

How to lose weight, by me, someone who has lost 30 pounds and kept it off: Step 1: Count every calorie you consume. If you don't know the exact amount of a dish, do your best. Apps like MyFitnessPal make this easier. Step 2: Limit that

Overall health, of course not. You'd probably feel like shit just eating chocolate bars (and also feel hungry all the time). Weight loss? Pretty much the same. You can look up stories of people losing weight by counting calories and ea

Losing weight is just consuming fewer calories than you burn. Any diet advice or strategies are just ways to achieve that. Keto, low carb, intermittent fasting, whatever. It's all just getting you to consume fewer calories than you bur
