One of the first things I learned in the field as a professional, even during college, was to basically ignore the listed requirements and apply anyway.
Is this not common knowledge?
- ianbicking 5y agoIt common knowledge for some people, that's why these positions still get filled. It's also been observed that for people who are less confident they belong in a position that they will self-exclude themselves from these jobs, which includes all the groups of people who are already underrepresented in the field.
