The funny thing is that it is not difficult to prove the exact cause with a debugger and symbols in cases like this either. I wonder if doing what Process Explorer does (quickly suspend/resume threads and display call stack) would be e

The most interesting stuff is about state criminal law, where each state will be different. Of course, SESTA is more than just that, but it is still an interesting question.

The entire idea of HR centrally controlling or even measuring performance of jobs other than things like easily measurable manual labor is fundamentally flawed.

You can't even create a single segment selector that is both writable and executable at all in x86.

But with 32-bit segments you can just have one code and one data segment and maybe one stack segment.

My favorite is how MS started development of OS/2 2.0 and NT OS/2 around that time, and there was x86 segmentation back then but they decided not to use it for 32-bit.

The fun thing is that fixing this might not be as simple as a CPU swap. I believe that the B2 stepping Core 2 Duos are 1066 MT/s FSB, while the G0 stepping ones are 1333 MT/s.

I wonder if the ideas of centralised layoffs based on performance reviews is even a good idea at all, especially for anything other than manual labor and the like.

Yea, the problem is the debt-based economy leading to things like the ad bubble in the first place. Mining is a process leading to a block reward too, and obviously typically as hashrate increases the difficulty increases too.

It dates back to the 1980s when the IBM PC BIOS has to be reverse engineered, though even Open Firmware used to have several vendors.

What is fun is how if there is an oversupply of say lithium, the demand for electric cars can restore demand. If the dollar collapses though for example, it will take until car loans are restored before there are any demand.

They are jobs that are easily measurable and are similar for every worker, which made it less bad. Note that I am talking about even thinking in terms of ratios that are for example centrally monitored by HR, not just forcing it.

The most important problem with anti-discrimination laws is it is often difficult to prove claims in lawsuits etc. The other problem is that it promotes thinking like 25% of workers has to be woman, which was probably fine for manual labor

At this point I think the problem is that the economy is debt based and depends on stocks going up anyway.

I believe that the code for the 4-way/group key handshakes etc is part of Windows even in XP, though there was the option of using your own supplicant before Vista.

I should mention that I suspect that the more likely that FBI investigations are successful, the more government debt they receive. Which is why the debt-based economy is flawed.

I am aiming for the expiration of Intel patents for stuff up to SSE2, which will likely happen in the next few years.
