It's easy to feel discouraged, but keep in mind: 1. The author didn't write this overnight. The oldest commits go back to Oct. 2017, three and a half years ago. Imagine what you could accomplish if you worked on something for thre

From your description it feels less like an issue with the code not being clever enough and more like an issue with the code not being organized and architected efficiently. I think the "don't be clever" edict applies to code

I think that was the GP's point. They're implying that the agencies only engage in redundant work, not significant work.

True, but I don't want to have to exit out of 5 breakpoints each time I run through the scenario. I just want to run it with the print output logging the procession and key variables as a summary of relevant info. To me that's the

While I agree that Metric is better, converting isn't very practical. Imagine the cost of having to change every sign, book, and other text using imperial measurements, as well as any programs and tools that are based on imperial. It j

Are you sure it won't evolve into that anyway? Google isn't looking at FLoC as a compromise, it's just an intermediary while they continue their ever-lasting search to optimize their ad services. The next Big Thing will arriv

That invites even more inquiry. So the author waited for people to come to them, and when nothing worked out, declared themself "unemployable" (despite not proactively looking for work). I get that people can hit hard places, and

Are you really unemployable if you aren't fitting in with companies with which you would be a bad fit? Sounds more like an issue with your application choices than your employability.

Hopefully! But I also have to look at how well Google Hangouts works in Firefox, and how well Zoom meetings work in browsers at all, and consequently limit my faith that marketshare is a heavy determinant in client behavior.

This might be a valid perspective today, but the first X-Box came out in 2001. How many middle-aged people in 2001 were playing console video games? Some, I'm sure, but it's probably a much more significant demographic in 2021 tha

Of course not. The $155k tuition is the loss. The $150k loan is just a sudden influx of money used to compensate for the investment losses, the same as a company receiving investment funding.
