Just posting these links, some of which have no comments, is a bit much and not actually helpful. It would be better to do a little more curation and choose the most active ones.

Not exactly. It did exist, and creators can see the actual count, but otherwise the dislike count isn’t sent by the API anymore. What’s actually going on is those browser plugins are recording the number of dislikes themselves and inferring

What is “it” exactly? What does the ECB require, for example? There were a few things listed so it’s not clear what you mean here.

Right, in this case what does the OP mean by POST? The HTTP call, or something else that’s with the same acronym or spelling?

Yeah, so then it depends on what determines if the first is indistinguishable from the second. Is this a Blade Runner situation, or something different?

I'm more in the former camp, and I would agree that if the computer passed this theoretical test, it could be considered thinking. We would also need to define what it means to think, since it's an ambiguous term; thinking could m

But how would you define fake and real thinking? One done by a human and a machine?

You’re implying it’s thinking about the questions, and it’s not. This is the point: there’s no way GPT has theory of mind because it doesn’t think. It can mimic well but it’s not thinking.

I haven’t read the paper but let’s be honest, current GPT style AI does not “think” in the way we think of humans thinking, and so it’s much more likely it’s “faking till it’s making it” and there were enough resources in its training model

Where did you go in Saigon where you got such a high fee (or a fee in general for not having coffee)? I’m genuinely curious as in my experience, even at really touristy specialty coffee places the coffee based drinks were no more than 80k,

I would say “can cause” performance issues, but I wouldn’t say React is one of the primary reasons for poor performance. You can get very far with little optimization in React, so I am skeptical that the way React works fundamentally causes

This isn’t the reason prices are higher. Even if Germany was using nuclear for most electricity, there’s a ton of gas being used in the industry and in homes (like for heating). Using non-nuclear power surely makes things a little more expe

Even for tech I’m skeptical of this, and so please cite if you have data to back it up. What are you considering part of what you get in, for example, Germany with taxes, but paid for out of pocket in the US?

Too many American city centers aren’t really set up for non-car usage, so even if cars went away, people would need to walk pretty big distances to get to where they’re going. Modern American cities need to be fundamentally redesigned to su
