When I realized my startup was turning into more of a lifestyle business I decided to go part time and work remotely from Asia (I'm the founder and our only dev). I gave our lead designer a lot more responsibility and empowered her to

Depends on the quarter. Last year there was a quarter where Apple ended up with over 100% profit share because, in aggregate, everyone else lost money. http://fortune.com/2016/11/04/apple-smartphone-profits&#x

Yes, so much this. I've encountered this same issue. For our non-technical employees I write an endpoint that gives them a CSV with the most current info (often with a super simple front-end that they can use to query for specific date

Des Moines is great. Cheap, good jobs, big enough to get decent concerts/theater tours, and small enough to feel a sense of community. Only downside is ~1-2 months of brutal weather in the winter. In response to the parent comment, the

Happy paying ngrok user here. Love it for developing anything using webhooks and also hybrid mobile apps (I have my app pull the JS from the Dev box I'm working on via ngrok without having to rebuild the app or deploy the code anywhere

Our city's paper focuses exclusively on local and regional issues and includes a USA Today section to cover national stories. I suspect a lot of smaller metros' papers do the same. Specifically those owned by Gannett: https:/

I believe that is the desired behavior with the Keychain. Pretty sure this is about persisting data after the entire device has been wiped. Not just the app removed and re-installed.

It'd be cool if the browser used this to allow cross-origin caching as well. Say I have jQuery previously loaded a page that included jQuery from CDNJS and now I'm in China and another site tries to load jQuery from Google's
