We were doing something like this where I work also, but it's still more firepower than we need. We didn't have one SPA to represent the entire client — we have a few smaller Elm applications, and those are only in the places wher

I'm moving away from working with Elm also, but for different reasons. I don't care that Elm isn't some jolly club where everyone gets to join in. If it were, we would 100% see escape hatches, and, ultimately, runtime errors.

Even as a native speaker, “autarchy” is difficult to pronounce in an intelligible manner. And even if I do sufficiently contort my facial muscles to pronounce that word, it’s esoteric even for the nerdiest of audiences. It’ll never fly.

Is it your intention to discourage the free world from arming Ukraine? Because that’s usually the intention of those who push this narrative. I wonder, too, if you would be doing the same thing if you saw a russian missile flying towards yo

Frankly, every web developer should be excited about accessibility. It's not just about obscure tag attributes that are invisible to most users. Following the WCAG will actually make your design better by guiding you towards text with

There’s nothing elegant about continuously accreting features. If JavaScript were limited to The Good Parts I could say it’s elegant. As it stands I’d describe it as more akin to Frankenstein’s monster but riddled with tumors.
