It's only better if the intersection has high, consistent pedestrian traffic. Unfortunately, many cities aren't built to be pedestrian friendly so those criteria are rarely met outside of busy cities, downtowns, and college towns.

Starcraft was released in 1998. The game development industry was still pretty new and nowhere near the size it is today. Also, modern project management strategies weren't really used much back then and even if they were, they probabl

I think the restrictions make the game more interesting. However the pause is a bit annoying. If you make a move before the animation finished then it should either speed up the animation or skip it.

The blog post was a blast to read and even better, it served as a great trailer for the game. Bought it immediately after reading. I wish more game devs wrote blog posts like this.

I don't think anyone's arguing that the new ways are better. However, it's not clear that we're going in the right direction and instead we're stuck in a local maximum. Maybe if we took a step back and had mapping p

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. If a movie is released today, it obviously wouldn't have the towers. And a movie released in the past right after 9/11 would edit them out because it was still fresh in peopl

When you raise funding at a startup, you're usually creating new shares which dilute old shares. If a seed round VC is able to get out with a 20% loss then they might be happy, but what will actually happen is that the seed round VC&#x

I don't think you can generalize Web3 companies to all software companies. Web3 companies have shown time and time again that they don't care much about security or good software development practices. I'm not sure if it'
