Thats more of a beginner program. Also its very strength focused. I started with something similar but later shifted to slightly higher reps and splits. More size for less work.

Goddamn this. I have been a linuxer all my life but getting older somehow really makes patching drivers all the time quite unattractive. Bought my first mac this year... good decision.

Six sets of four reps each. But that's a really weird routine. I recommend 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps for most people.

Stop doing squats 3 times a week. It's a beginner's move, and only valuable if you're planning to be a competitive powerlifter. I moved onto a more traditional 4-day split (chest, shoulders, back, legs) years ago and it'

The original is a marginally useful view of the clock. This is a gif file that breaks whatever usefulness was in the original. Why is it posted? And why is it on the frontpage?

Watching Prof. Kamala Krithivasan teaching Automata theory in full sari avatar was just mind blowing :) I think I'm gonna watch this course.

It definitely shouldn't matter, but I would still like to know what he finds objectionable. He's one of the smartest scholars in Indian politics and his opinions are always interesting, if somewhat controversial.

I will certainly not recommend it as a first book on Hinduism. For that I would probably go with http://www.amazon.com/Philosophies-Religions-India-Yogi-Rama... . It's a short and concise read and the treatment is a go

I agree with you on the hypocrisy of US media on this one. But I still don't understand what Dr swamy finds so objectionable in the book. I've started reading it, and it seems like a very scholarly treatment of the ignored sectio

Penguin India is also a private institution. The book isn't banned, simply withdrawn by Penguin for what are likely commercial reasons.

How is Go slower than Java? Actually Go is pretty slow compared to many languages I would've expected it to be faster than.

Do you mean Visual Studio or their languages? If the former, that's a tool. They make good tools, no doubt, but closed tools aren't really conducive to open innovation. They've made good languages, but again I wouldn't w

Yep, I would take that deal in an instant. Here in India I get a maximum starting limit of 80GB, after which they drop the speed down to a 256kbps crawl. And if I want extra data I have to pay around $10 (that's USD) for 5GB. Fuck.
