Price to Earnings less cash is probably a better metric anyways. If you take away the ~250 billion in cash that Apple has on their balance sheet, you end up with a P/E of around 12-13, which is a little below average historically.

It's a bit of a simplification to call Amazon a low profit margin business -- Amazon is a lot of different businesses each with their own margin considerations. And most of Amazon's businesses we won't know the real margins t

True, I'm not saying Singapore isn't an ally. They just have much more hedged relationships with the US than a country like The Netherlands, who we've managed to fight two World Wars with.

I think The Netherlands and Singapore are an Apples to Orange comparison. Given that The Netherlands has been one of our closest allies for decades and was an original founding member of NATO, them deciding to halt a US takeover on "na

If you're from a country that is not allied with the United States, I'm certain they would agree with that. There's a reason the Russians and Iranians aren't clamoring to buy our products.

Do you think it's normal for software managers to refuse to let their employees schedule 30 minute meetings? That seems absurd to me and would qualify as more dysfunctional than any workplace I've ever been in. This is knowledge w

This confuses me. Coding is more of a tactical operation, and with it you're still going to want a grand strategic vision of what to implement. I think it's foolish to think that you can see the big picture just by trying to make
