I support YouTube denouncing flat earthers because the science is clear to me: they're wrong. I think this will get slippery if they make similar tweaks for politics or social issues. This raises the question is it really YouTube'

The entire point is that presentations are easier to game than a narrative. If the audience can’t be bothered to read the paper it’s time for the audience to be replaced.

The factory has been closed for two years according to the article. I wouldn’t modernize that shop, bridgeports are workhorses. Tools like that aren’t made anymore.

I'm surprised I didn't see application performance monitoring mentioned here. A lot of applications are complex and in those cases adding containers is only effective until you reach the next constraint. Having two resources (such

Amazon admitting this is a business risk to shareholders is a great start but what I really want to see is a commitment to solving this problem. I can't help but be a bit pessimistic here and think that Amazon will do the bare minimum

Conspicuous consumption is not new by any means. You sell a $10 lamp by putting it on a $100 table. Here's a quote from a 1992 research paper: "The spending patterns of the pretentious members of the baby boom generation, or yuppi

Reddit used to be a lot more open. I can't help but think that since a few years ago there are more rules than ever, more mods, and more pressure to fit into an echo chamber of who the average redditor should be.
