Can you provide an example of one of the exciting and unique patents you've run across? This would go a long way towards supporting your point. The specific examples I've seen are ridiculously broad and far from novel.

Can anyone back up his claim that Netflix is paying the studios based on subscribers? This seems really unlikely. Surely they are tracking watches and paying a fee based on that. I am pretty sure this is how streaming music services work.

I am guessing that they knew their traffic would decrease. What we probably won't know for a while is whether the decreased ad revenue, as a result of fewer impressions, is greater than the increased subscription revenue. Assuming subscript

I applaud the author for doing this sort of user testing. Instead of getting a focus group to come to you, bring your test to them. Besides the mall, you might have fun trying this out at your local museum as well.

I think these brand examples aren't very apt. A better comparison is Craftsman from Sears. They make a crap load of tools from wrenches to weed whackers, but all of them benefit from the quality Craftsman brand aura. So when Sears developed

I am currently frustrated with Github's private repository hosting plans. When I switched from SVN to Git, what was initially one repository became six, because of Git's "you can't checkout part of a repo" philosophy. So now, I have to buy
