Tank turn is not a gimmick. Super useful on offroad trails where space to turn around is quite limited, which is important when you get to a part of the trail that is impassible or dangerous.

It might work, but Rivian has said that it should not be used on asphalt due to tire damage and maybe damage to other vehicle components.

I think it's actually quite the opposite. If you need a truck for its utility which one makes more sense? The Cybertruck is less expensive, has more range, bigger payload, higher towing capacity, access to the best charging network in

Hmmm. So Twitter would basically be a room, and users could pretty much ignore the rest of the Matrix network?

I stumbled upon Matrix the other day. The reason I passed it over was it sounds like all discussions happen in rooms, which made me think Matrix is basically chat room software. Is there a way to have a public discussion on Matrix with the

Time to dig it out and give it another try. When the game came out, I remember just feeling so "bleh" about it. Sure there was realism to it, but I remember it feeling so pointless. Drive here, drive there. Sure it's beautifu

You must learn to trust your subconscious to help you with keeping an active eye on it. Just as you must trust employees to do their work without micromanaging them and breathing down their necks the whole time.

Practicality is a choice whereas creativity is a poorly-understood synthesis process. If you're very level headed, it just means that you are quick to discard ideas that sounds risky, difficult, or improbable. If you are looking for mo

I tried for a while. The experience was just too sloppy for me. I got fed up and switched to Chromium Edge. I hate the Pocket integration and other crap they try to shove down your throat. And at work, the lack of integrated Windows authent

Things that look real-world buttons or switches are more obviously a button in isolation than things that require a lot of context. Things can look "pressable" without context.

There are some good examples of what not to do. Your button state example is the best. I agree with you that they've turned the dial too far. I'm hoping someone has a good collection of examples where the designer chose obvious in

Yeah, checkboxes simply need better theming support. Hiding them is not good, but also having them break consistency and sticking out like a sore thumb because there's no way to skin them is also not good

I would argue that what you're seeing with bad design is not the fault of UX design as a concept but rather specific examples where it failed. UX designers are supposed to help ensure that software is usable and frustration free. If th
