I find people don't want to share these. I can understand to a degree as I've seen good communities go to hell once the "normies" show up.

I don't follow politics nor do I follow these discussions, but I wonder how many people are influenced from a politic ad vs how many people are influenced from bots. I'd _guess_ bots are much much much much more influential.

I registered a Fastmail account a year ago. Next thing I know, I had multiple stores (Steam, Target, etc) sending me e-mails that relate to a specific user account. Sad.

I hate that I can relate. There are times where it seems like I need Herculean energy to shop + cook a meal. Not to mention, doing so removes one of the only events I look forward to (pizza, ice cream, etc).

Have you been restricting dietary fats during the "veggies and chicken" periods? I found that to enormously impact my moods. Once I added back fats (butter, avocado, peanut butter, nuts, etc) I was back to normal. Don't under

Eero is a much better alternative for the average person. Solid features, INCREDIBLY easy to setup, nice app, helpful support, etc. Big fan.

There should be no voting. I has no positive attribute. It encourages low-quality posts, encourages internet addiction, discourages varied viewpoints, etc. It eventually ruins all communities. Report button? Yes! Voting? No.

I work in accounting (manufacturing, non-tech) and read HN daily. The discussions here are often balanced and insightful. HN feels quite mature. I learn a lot here - how to be a better mentor, how to be mentored, how to cope with depression
