The biggest problem with MacOS is that some of the modifiers don't respect the keyboard for some java gui toolkit. I've only seen this problem come up with intellij products. And it's only with the non-alphanumeric keys. So t

Once people know you don't type QWERTY they won't shut up about it. Every time there is an HN post about colemak or dvorak you'll get the same stream of jokes and references to 20 year old reason articles. Some people seem to

https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/wiki/index is a pretty good place to start. The ARRL has manuals that walk through the theory behind the exams for the US licences. The extra class book explains the theo

You don't have to switch editors. For the past few years I've moved between rubymine, pycharm, and atom for coding while still having emacs open for my org-mode notes.

If any one else wants to know more about these google "in ear monitor". That's the trade name for the headphones musicians use to hear the mixed product while also protecting themselves from the amplified sound.

If you are curious about tropospheric ducting this[1] site shows openings determined by looking at what packets are coming through APRS igateways. Some of the LoRa stuff runs on UHF so it could be subject to similar openings(like the huge o

In addition to everything else mentioned here they spent a TON of money[1]. For example they spent what would be 3.6 billion 2016 dollars on Guidance and Navigation. If your current project could drop a few hundred million on QC I bet quali
